How does a seven-day rental work at Carviste?
Your rental period begins at the agreed handover time and runs for exactly seven calendar days. The return window is stated in your plan, and we'll send a reminder a day before the end of your booking.
What documents do I need to rent a vehicle?
You'll need a valid Malaysian driving licence (or an international driving permit for foreign visitors), a national ID or passport, and a deposit as specified at the time of booking confirmation.
Is the mileage in each plan fixed or adjustable?
The Compact plan includes a standard weekly mileage allowance. If you anticipate heavier use, we'd suggest the Mid-Tier or Premium plan, or you can ask about additional mileage arrangements when making your enquiry.
Can I request delivery of the vehicle to my location?
Door-step delivery and pickup is included in the Premium Weekly Plan. Compact and Mid-Tier plan customers collect from our Ampang base. Contact us if you have a specific request — we'll let you know what can be arranged.
What happens if I need to extend my rental by a few days?
Extensions are subject to vehicle availability. We ask that you let us know at least 24 hours before your scheduled return. Get in touch via phone or email and we'll advise on next steps promptly.
How is the deposit handled?
A refundable security deposit is collected at the time of handover. The amount varies by plan tier and is returned after inspection at the end of the rental period, subject to the vehicle's condition.
