Who We Are

Carviste started as a response to a recurring observation: most car rental options in the Klang Valley were structured around daily rates, which suited short trips but left weekly renters without a coherent package. Visitors staying for a conference, professionals relocating temporarily, and local residents whose own vehicle was in for service all faced the same fragmented experience.

We set out to build a small, reliable operation focused entirely on the seven-day rental window. Each of our three plans — Compact, Mid-Tier, and Premium — was designed from scratch around that duration. The included services, the mileage allowances, the cleaning schedules, and the handover procedures all reflect how a real week of driving tends to unfold.

Based at 22 Jalan Mamanda 7 in Taman Dato Ahmad Razali, we serve customers across Ampang and the broader Klang Valley. Our location makes pickups straightforward whether you're coming from central KL, Cheras, or Pandan Indah.

    Every plan specifies what's included before you commit. Mileage caps, cleaning provisions, and return windows are all written out clearly at enquiry.

  • Week-Oriented Structure

    We don't add daily rate conversions or piecemeal surcharges. A weekly plan is a weekly plan — priced and arranged as a unit.

  • Responsive Contact

    Questions during your rental period go to a real person. Mid-Tier and Premium customers have a named contact throughout their booking.

  • Careful Vehicle Handover

    We go through the vehicle with each customer at pickup and conduct a structured check at return. Premium plan customers receive a written end-of-week summary.

Fleet & Maintenance

Responsible for vehicle condition checks, mid-week inspections, and ensuring each car meets cleanliness and roadworthiness standards before handover.

Standards

Every vehicle goes through a condition check before it's handed to a customer. We document the state of the car at both pickup and return to keep the process clear for all parties.

All vehicles in our fleet hold current road tax and mandatory Puspakom inspections. Rental agreements are drawn up in compliance with Malaysian road transport regulations.

Each vehicle in our fleet carries comprehensive motor insurance. Details of coverage and customer responsibilities are explained clearly at the time of booking confirmation.

Fleet vehicles follow a structured servicing schedule. No vehicle goes out on a weekly rental if it's overdue for maintenance or if any known issue remains unresolved.

Customer identification and contact details are held securely and used only for rental administration purposes. We don't pass personal data to third parties for marketing.

We provide a written rental agreement with every booking. Conditions around mileage, fuel, damage liability, and return procedures are laid out in plain language before you sign.

Carviste operates out of Taman Dato Ahmad Razali in Ampang, a well-connected residential area that sits close to major road access points leading to Kuala Lumpur city centre, Cheras, and Pandan Maju. The location works well for customers who need to travel across the Klang Valley during their rental period without relying on public transport.

Our three weekly plans — Compact at RM 540, Mid-Tier at RM 2,000, and Premium at RM 4,500 — represent different levels of vehicle class and included service. The Compact plan suits cost-conscious travellers and short-distance commuting. The Mid-Tier plan is popular among business visitors who want a more comfortable sedan and the assurance of a named contact during their stay. The Premium plan is suited to those who want a higher-class vehicle with door-step service.

Each plan runs for seven consecutive days from the agreed handover time. Customers are encouraged to make their enquiry a few days ahead of their intended start date, particularly for Mid-Tier and Premium bookings, to allow for proper preparation and communication before the rental begins.
